CROWDFUNDING ΓΙΑ ΤΑ ΔΙΚΑΣΤΙΚΑ ΕΞΟΔΑ ΤΗΣ ΥΠΟΘΕΣΗΣ ΤΟΥ ΒΑΣΑΝΙΣΜΟΥ ΤΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟ ΜΑΓΓΟΥ ΑΠΟ ΑΣΤΥΝΟΜΙΚΟΥΣ

Το καλοκαίρι του 2020 ο αγώνας ενάντια στην καύση σκουπιδιών από την ΑΓΕΤ –Lafarge στο Βόλο κλιμακώνονταν με τη μεγάλη διαδήλωση στις 13 Ιούνη έξω από το εργοστάσιο της ΑΓΕΤ.

Ο κρατικός κατασταλτικός μηχανισμός, κατ' εντολή των επιχειρηματικών συμφερόντων, ανέλαβε να καταστείλει το λαϊκό ποτάμι της εναντίωσης στην καύση σκουπιδιών και να επιβάλλει σιωπή νεκροταφείου στην πόλη. Επί δύο ημέρες οι αστυνομικές δυνάμεις ενεργούσαν σαν στρατός κατοχής στην πόλη του Βόλου. Χτυπώντας διαδηλωτές σε διάφορα σημεία της πόλης, στέλνοντας δεκάδες στο νοσοκομείο, μετατρέποντας το χώρο της διαδήλωσης σε θάλαμο αερίων, συλλαμβάνοντας διαδηλωτές, τρομοκρατώντας ανθρώπους κάθε ηλικίας που συμμετείχαν στη διαδήλωση, εισβάλλοντας σε σπίτια «υπόπτων», στήνοντας ένα εκτεταμένο δίκτυο παρακολούθησης αγωνιστών και αγωνιστριών.

Αποκορύφωμα της σχεδιασμένης και προαποφασισμένης κατασταλτικής εκστρατείας ήταν ο άγριος ξυλοδαρμός και ο βασανισμός του Βασίλη Μάγγου την επόμενη της διαδήλωσης.

Μια διαδικασία που τον οδήγησε ένα μήνα μετά, στις 13 Ιουνίου του 2020 στο θάνατο.

Από το σημείο αυτό αρχίζει ένας μεγάλος αγώνας για την ανάδειξη του χαρακτήρα της στοχευμένης κρατικής δολοφονίας του Βασίλη Μάγγου, τη συντριβή των μεθοδεύσεων συγκάλυψης των κρατικών και δικαστικών αρχών για την υπόθεση, τη δημιουργία ενός κινήματος αλληλεγγύης για τους δεκάδες αγωνιστές που μπήκαν στο στόχαστρο των διωκτικών αρχών και για τη συνέχιση της μάχης ενάντια στα επιχειρηματικά τέρατα της ΑΓΕΤ – Lafarge και τη δολοφονική καύση σκουπιδιών.

Ο αγώνας αυτός έχει μέχρι σήμερα καταφέρει, την καταδίκη τριών αστυνομικών για την πρόκληση επικίνδυνων σωματικών βλαβών στο Βασίλη Μάγγο, την παραπομπή σε δίκη σε βαθμό κακουργήματος έξι αστυνομικών για το βασανισμό του Βασίλη Μάγγου, την αθώωση συναγωνιστών μας που δικάστηκαν για τη συμμετοχή τους στη διαδήλωση στις 13/06/2020 ενάντια στην καύση σκουπιδιών και τη συντριβή βαριών κατηγορητηρίων που επιχείρησαν να φορτώσουν σε άλλους.

Ο αγώνας αυτός βασίστηκε στη διαρκή, αταλάντευτη και επίμονη προσπάθεια συλλογικοτήτων στην πόλη του Βόλου. Στην καταλυτική και εμβληματική στράτευση του Γιάννη του Μάγγου που έφτασε την υπόθεση του Βασίλη σε κάθε γωνιά, εντός και εκτός συνόρων. Στο τεράστιο και πολύμορφο κύμα αλληλεγγύης που πλαισίωσε και αγκάλιασε αυτό τον αγώνα, φτάνοντας την υπόθεση του Βασίλη σε κάθε πόλη, γειτονιά, σχολείο και σχολή.

Σήμερα βρισκόμαστε σε μια διαδικασία κορύφωσης όλων αυτών των προσπαθειών. Από τη μία στις 20 Νοέμβρη αρχίζει η δίκη των έξι βασανιστών αστυνομικών του Βασίλη Μάγγου στο κακουργιοδικείο Καρδίτσας. Από την άλλη στις 28 Γενάρη θα αρχίσει η δίκη 12 αγωνιστριών και αγωνιστών που διώκονται για τη συμμετοχή τους στη διαδήλωση της 13ης Ιούνη ενάντια στην καύση σκουπιδιών. Δύο δίκες ιδιαίτερα σημαντικές για να ηττηθεί το σχέδιο καθυπόταξης των αγωνιστικών αντιστάσεων και εξαιρετικά απαιτητικές στο επίπεδο της κοινωνικής ανάδειξης και στήριξης.

Μέχρι σήμερα έχουν διεξαχθεί τρεις δικάσιμοι για την υπόθεση του Βασίλη Μάγγου σε βαθμό πλημμελήματος για τη δίκη των τριών αστυνομικών της ΟΠΚΕ, (εκκρεμεί το εφετείο), δύο δικάσιμοι για τη δίωξη του συναγωνιστή μας Κ.Α. σε βαθμό κακουργήματος, (εκκρεμεί το εφετείο) και μία δικάσιμος για τη δίωξη του συναγωνιστή μας Θ.Σ. σε βαθμό πλημμελήματος.

Είναι εμφανές πως η παρατεταμένη δικαστική διαμάχη, που πλέον ξεπερνά τα 5 χρόνια, εκτός των άλλων έχει στόχο την πολιτική εξάντληση και οικονομική εξόντωση καθώς και την ομηρία των διωκόμενων αγωνιστών και αγωνιστριών. Η καμπάνια οικονομικής ενίσχυσης που ξεκινάμε, είναι αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι της πολιτικής αλληλεγγύης στο μαχόμενο κίνημα της περιοχής.

Είναι αναγκαίος όρος και προϋπόθεση για να πάμε αυτό τον αγώνα μέχρι τέλους.
Είναι μια ακόμη απάντηση πως ο αγώνας αυτός αφορά όλη την αγωνιζόμενη κοινωνία, καθώς επιχειρεί να διαμορφώσει όρους κοινωνικής δικαιοσύνης με το βλέμμα στραμμένο στο δίκιο των καταπιεσμένων και όχι σε εκείνο που ορίζουν οι ισχυροί με τους νόμους, τις μεθοδεύσεις και τις συγκαλύψεις τους.
Ότι έχουμε είναι μόνο ο ένας την άλλη.
Μην ξεχάσουμε, μη συγχωρέσουμε, να εκδικηθούμε και να αγωνιστούμε μέχρι τέλους.

Στηρίζουμε την υπόθεση του Βασίλειου Μάγγου και των υπόλοιπων αγωνιστών/ριών.

Crowdfunding für die Gerichtskosten im Fall der Folter von Vasilis Maggos durch die Polizei



Im Sommer 2020 eskalierte der Kampf gegen die Müllverbrennung durch AGET-Lafarge (Holcim) in Volos mit einer großen Demonstration am 13. Juni vor dem AGET-Werk.

Der staatliche Unterdrückungsapparat übernahm auf Geheiß der Wirtschaftsinteressen die Aufgabe, den Volksaufstand gegen die Müllverbrennung zu unterdrücken und die Stadt in Grabesstille zu versetzen. Zwei Tage lang agierten die Polizeikräfte wie eine Besatzungsarmee in der Stadt Volos. Sie schlugen Demonstrant:innen an verschiedenen Orten der Stadt, schickten Dutzende ins Krankenhaus, erstickten den Ort der Demonstration mit Gas, verhafteten Demonstrierende, terrorisierten Menschen jeden Alters, die an der Demonstration teilnahmen, drangen in die Häuser von „Verdächtigen” ein und bauten ein ausgedehntes Netzwerk zur Überwachung von Aktivist:innen auf.

Der Höhepunkt der geplanten und vorab beschlossenen Unterdrückungskampagne war die brutale Prügelattacke und Folterung von Vasilis Maggos am Tag nach der Demonstration.

Ein Vorgang, der einen Monat später, am 14. Juli 2020, zu seinem Tod führte.

Von diesem Punkt an beginnt ein großer Kampf, um den Charakter des gezielten staatlichen Mordes an Vasilis Maggos aufzudecken, die Vertuschungsversuche der staatlichen und gerichtlichen Behörden in diesem Fall zu zerschlagen, eine Solidaritätsbewegung für die Dutzenden von Aktivisten zu schaffen, die ins Visier der Strafverfolgungsbehörden geraten sind, und den Kampf gegen die Geschäftsgeier von AGET- Lafarge (Holcim) und die mörderische Müllverbrennung fortzusetzen.

Dieser Kampf hat bis heute dazu geführt, dass drei Polizisten wegen gefährlicher Körperverletzung von Vasilis Maggos verurteilt wurden, dass sechs Polizisten wegen der Folterung von Vasilis Maggos unter der Anklage eines Verbrechens vor Gericht gestellt wurden, dass die meisten unserer Mitstreiter:innen, die wegen ihrer Teilnahme an der Demonstration am 13.06.2020 gegen die Müllverbrennung vor Gericht standen, freigesprochen und die schweren Anklagen, die man Anderen anzuhängen versuchte, zurückgewiesen wurden.

Dieser Kampf basierte auf den unermüdlichen, unerschütterlichen und beharrlichen Bemühungen von Kollektiven in der Stadt Volos. Auf dem beispielhaften und wegweisenden Einsatz von Iannis Maggos, der den Fall von Vasilis in jeden Winkel innerhalb und außerhalb der Landesgrenzen trug. Auf die enorme und vielfältige Welle der Solidarität, die diesen Kampf begleitete und unterstützte und den Fall von Vasilis in jede Stadt, jedes Viertel, jede Schule und jede Hochschule trug.

Heute befinden wir uns in einem Prozess, in dem all diese Bemühungen ihren Höhepunkt erreichen. Am 20. November beginnt der Prozess gegen die sechs Polizisten, die Vasilis Maggos gefoltert haben, vor dem Strafgericht von Karditsa. Andererseits beginnt am 28. Januar der Prozess gegen 12 Aktivist:innen, die wegen ihrer Teilnahme an der Demonstration vom 13. Juni gegen die Müllverbrennung verfolgt werden. Zwei Prozesse, die für die Vereitelung des Plans zur Unterdrückung des Widerstands besonders wichtig und hinsichtlich der sozialen Aufmerksamkeit und Unterstützung äußerst anspruchsvoll sind.

Bis heute fanden drei Verhandlungstermine im Fall von Vasilis Maggos wegen eines Vergehens im Prozess gegen die drei Polizisten der OPKE statt (das Berufungsverfahren ist noch anhängig), zwei Gerichtsverhandlungen zur Verfolgung unseres Mitstreiters K.A. wegen eines Verbrechens (das Berufungsverfahren ist noch anhängig) und eine Gerichtsverhandlung zur Verfolgung unseres Mitstreiters Th.S. wegen eines Vergehens.

Es ist offensichtlich, dass der seit mehr als fünf Jahren andauernde Rechtsstreit unter anderem darauf abzielt, die verfolgten Aktivist:innen politisch und finanziell zu zermürben und zu ruinieren. Die von uns gestartete Kampagne zur finanziellen Unterstützung ist ein fester Bestandteil der Solidarität mit der kämpfenden Bewegung in der Region.

Das ist eine notwendige Voraussetzung, um diesen Kampf bis zum Ende durchzuhalten. Es ist eine weitere Antwort darauf, dass dieser Kampf die gesamte kämpfende Gesellschaft betrifft, da er versucht, Bedingungen für soziale Gerechtigkeit zu schaffen, wobei der Blick auf das Recht der Unterdrückten gerichtet ist und nicht auf das, was die Mächtigen mit ihren Gesetzen, ihren Machenschaften und ihren Vertuschungen festlegen. Wir haben nur uns einander. Wir dürfen nicht vergessen, wir dürfen nicht vergeben, wir müssen uns rächen und bis zum Ende kämpfen.

Wir unterstützen die Sache von Vasilios Maggos und den anderen Aktivisten.

CROWDFUNDING for the court costs of the case of the torture of Vasileios Maggos by the police.

In the summer of 2020, the struggle against the incineration of waste by AGET-Lafarge in Volos escalated with a large demonstration on June 13th outside the AGET factory.

The state’s repressive machinery, at the behest of business interests, took on the task of suppressing the popular wave of opposition to waste incineration and to impose absolute silence over the city. For two days, the police acted like an occupying army in the city of Volos. They assaulted demonstrators at various locations in the city, sending dozens to the hospital, turning the demonstration site into a gas chamber, detaining protestors, terrorizing people of all ages who participated in the demonstration, breaking into homes of “suspects,” and setting up an extensive surveillance network on activists.

At the top of this planned and predetermined repressive campaign, was the brutal beating and torturing of Vassilis Maggos the day after the demonstration

A process wich ultimately led to his death a month later, on June 13th, 2020.

From this point on, a great struggle began to highlight the nature of the targeted state assassination of Vassilis Maggos, the crushing of the efforts by state and judicial authorities to cover up the case, the creation of a solidarity movement for the many activists targeted by the authorities, and the continuation of the fight against the business monsters of AGET-Lafarge and their deadly waste incineration practices.

This struggle has so far achieved the conviction of three police officers for causing dangerous bodily harm to Vassilis Maggos, the referral for trial as a felony of six police officers for the torture of Vassilis, the acquittal of our comrades who were tried for their participation in the June 13, 2020 demonstration against waste incineration, and the crushing of heavy indictments that they attempted to charge others.

This struggle has been based on the constant, unwavering, and persistent efforts of collectives in the city of Volos. It is also rooted in the decisive and emblematic activity of Giannis Maggos, who brought Vassilis’s case to every corner, both within Greece and abroad. Additionally, a massive and multifaceted wave of solidarity supported and embraced this fight, bringing Vassilis’s case to every city, neighborhood, school, and gathering place.

Today, we are in the process of intensifying all these efforts. On one hand, the trial of the six police officers who tortured Vassilis Maggos begins on November 20th in the Criminal Court of Karditsa. On the other hand, the trial of twelve activists who are being prosecuted for their participation in the June 13th demonstration against waste incineration will start on January 28th. These two trials are crucial to defeat the plan of subjugating resistance movements and are extremely demanding in terms of social exposure and support.

So far three hearings on misdemeanor charges have been held against three law enforcement officers (appeal pending), two hearings for the prosecution of our comrade K.A. on felony charges (appeal pending), and one hearing for the prosecution of our comrade Th.S. on misdemeanor charges

It is clear that the prolonged judicial battle, which now exceeds five years, aims among other things, to politically exhaust and financially destroy the activists involved and hold them hostages. The financial support campaign we are launching is an integral part of political solidarity with the struggling movement in the region.

It is a necessary condition to push this struggle to its end.
It is another response to show that this struggle concerns the entire fighting society, as it seeks to create conditions for social justice focused on the rights and needs of the oppressed.
All we have is each other.
Let us not forget, not forgive, but take revenge, and fight until the end.

L'été 2020, la lutte contre l'incinération des déchets par AGET-Lafarge à Volos s'est intensifiée avec la grande manifestation du 13 juin devant l'usine AGET.

Le mécanisme répressif de l'État, sur ordre des intérêts d'affaires, a entrepris de réprimer le flot populaire d'opposition à l'incinération des déchets et d'imposer un silence de mort à la ville. Pendant deux jours, les forces policières agissaient comme une armée d'occupation dans la ville de Volos. Elles ont battu des manifestants dans divers endroits de la ville, ont envoyé des dizaines d'entre eux à l'hôpital, ont transformé le lieu de la manifestation en chambre à gaz, ont arrêté des manifestants, ont terrorisé des personnes de tous âges participant à la manifestation, ont envahi des domiciles de « suspects » et ont mis en place un vaste réseau de surveillance des militant.e.s.

Le point culminant de cette campagne répressive planifiée et préméditée a été le passage à tabac et la torture sauvage de Vassilis Maggos le lendemain de la manifestation.

Un processus qui l’a conduit, un mois plus tard, le 13 juin 2020, à la mort.

À partir de ce moment commence une grande lutte pour mettre en lumière le caractère de l'assassinat ciblé de l'État de Vassilis Maggos, pour écraser des manœuvres de dissimulation des autorités étatiques et judiciaires dans cette affaire, pour créer un mouvement de solidarité avec les dizaines de militant.e.s qui sont devenu.e.s des cibles des autorités répressives et pour poursuivre la lutte contre les géants d'entreprise d'AGET – Lafarge et contre l’incinération meurtrière des déchets.

Cette lutte a permis jusqu'à présent la condamnation de trois policiers pour avoir causé du dommage corporel grave à Vassilis Maggos, le renvoi en jugement pour crime de six policiers pour torture sur lui, l'acquittement de nos camarades militants jugés pour leur participation à la manifestation du 13 juin 2020 contre l'incinération des déchets et l’écrasement de lourdes accusations qui ont été portées contre d’autres.

Cette lutte s'appuie sur l'effort constant, indéfectible et persévérant des collectifs de la ville de Volos ; sur l'engagement décisif et emblématique de Giannis Maggos, qui a porté l’affaire de Vassilis aux quatre coins du pays, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur ; sur la vague immense et diversifiée de solidarité qui a soutenu et embrassé cette lutte, et qui a porté l'affaire de Vassilis dans chaque ville, quartier, école et établissement d'enseignement.

Aujourd'hui, nous sommes dans un processus d'intensification de tous ces efforts. D'une part, le 20 novembre, le procès des six policiers qui ont torturé Vassilis Maggos s'ouvrira devant le tribunal pénal de Karditsa. D'autre part, le 28 janvier, celui de 12 militants poursuivis pour leur participation à la manifestation du 13 juin contre l'incinération des déchets s'ouvrira. Deux procès particulièrement importants pour vaincre le projet de soumission des résistances militantes et extrêmement exigeants en termes de visibilité et de soutien social.

À ce jour, trois procès ont eu lieu dans l'affaire Vassilis Mangos, pour délit, contre trois policiers de l'OPKE (l'appel est en cours), deux procès pour crime contre notre camarade K.A. (l'appel est en cours), et un procès pour délit contre notre camarade T.S.

Il est évident que ce long litige, qui dure désormais plus de 5 ans, vise non seulement à l’épuisement politique et à la destruction économique des militant.e.s, mais aussi à la prise en otage des militant.e.s persécuté.e.s. La campagne de soutien financier que nous lançons fait partie intégrante de la solidarité politique avec le mouvement militant de la région.

C'est une condition nécessaire et préalable pour mener cette lutte jusqu’au bout. C’est une réponse que cette lutte concerne toute la sociétémilitante, car elle cherche à définir les conditions de justice sociale, en se concentrant sur ce dont les opprimés ont besoin, et non sur ce que les puissants dictent par leurs lois, leurs manœuvres et leurs dissimulations. Ce que nous avons, c'est seulement l'unité entre nous. Nous sommes là les un.e.s pour les autres. N'oublions pas, ne pardonnons pas, vengeons-nous et combattons jusqu'au bout.
