Greek State Repression of Palestinian Solidarity

On November 1st 2025 at Eleftherias Park, Athens, the greek state engaged in a public spectacle alongside representatives of two settler colonies - the so-called 'US' and 'Israel' - where each of their representatives spoke romantically of "peace", collaboration and heavy parts christian/jewish nationalism, with no mention of the ongoing Palestinian genocide. 13 of the witnesses to this atrocity exhibition were kidnapped and later arrested by greek state thugs on charges of disobedience. Yet another demonstration of the greek state's varied means of supporting the zionist state and its actions. As a result, those arrested have to produce, upfront, at least 900 euros in legal fees prior to our initial trial hearing on November 18th.

We are setting our target at 1,300 euros to cover the 900 lawyer fees, Firefund's funding and in anticipation of further legal fees. We need to collect this money fast as our lawyers need to be paid before court on November 18th. Any and all additional money collected after the case ends will go to Palestinian and pro-Palestinian liberation efforts.

We call to the global Palestinian solidarity movement to share what they can so that resistance against zionism can continue and so that with growing efforts around the world and mainly in Palestine, Palestine can and will be free!

NEW CALL: Greek State Repression of Palestinian Solidarity

Larger legal fees mean we are re-opening our call.

Short version: €1,760 more in legal fees.

Long version: On November 1st 2025 at Eleftherias Park, Athens, the greek state engaged in a public spectacle alongside representatives of two settler colonies - the so-called 'US' and 'Israel' - where each of their representatives spoke romantically of "peace", collaboration and heavy parts christian/jewish nationalism, with no mention of the ongoing Palestinian genocide. 13 of the witnesses to this atrocity exhibition were kidnapped and later arrested by greek state thugs on charges of disobedience. Yet another demonstration of the greek state's varied means of supporting the zionist state and its actions. As a result, those arrested have to produce at least €2,700 in legal fees.

We are setting our new target at €2,200 to cover the €1,760 in remaining lawyer fees (after the previous successful call), the remaining money to cover Firefund, and what is left for possible further legal fees. We need to collect this money as quickly as possible as our lawyers need to be paid. Any and all additional money collected after the case ends will go to Palestinian and pro-Palestinian liberation efforts.

We call on the global Palestinian solidarity movement to share what they can, so that resistance against zionism can continue and so that with growing efforts around the world - and mainly in Palestine - Palestine will be free!
