NO TRANS WOMAN LEFT ALONE AND UNHOUSED!

Yianna, a 50-year-old trans woman, has been unhoused for some time while facing serious health issues. She was expelled from her home by her family and the residents of the apartment building where she lived, who destroyed and stole her personal belongings, leaving her on the street and unable to work. What was the reason for this? She did not belong among the petit-bourgeois greeks, among the self-declared “well-behaved”—that is, among those who demand obedience to heteronormativity.

Yianna found temporary accommodation with her partner, who passed away suddenly in the summer. Following his death, she was evicted once again, this time by his family. Since then, ongoing housing deprivation has caused serious health issues and worsened existing ones.

The case of Yianna is not an isolated incident. Trans people routinely experience violence from the state and patriarchy, leading to exclusion from work, housing, and healthcare, and ultimately to social marginalization and racist hatred. The state’s welfare infrastructure is almost non-existent, and what little does exist—such as homeless shelters—operates under inhumane and unsafe conditions. Even housing provided by NGOs is overcrowded, as the state and the EU cut funding to welfare structures in order to increase military spending and preparations for war.

In this context, with rents skyrocketing and the city displacing the poor in favor of tourists and those with money, housing for the working class and the underprivileged has become a dystopia.

Yianna reached out to our community, and for the past two months, we have been working together to address her health issues, navigate bureaucracy, and confront her forced unhousing – above all, to secure a home so she can continue her treatment and live. We are asking for financial support in this struggle for decent housing and living conditions worthy of a life with dignity.

ΚΑΜΙΑ ΤΡΑΝΣ ΜΟΝΗ ΑΠΕΝΑΝΤΙ ΣΤΗΝ ΑΣΤΕΓΙΑ!

Η Γιάννα, τρανς γυναίκα 50 χρόνων, αντιμετωπίζει σοβαρά ζητήματα υγείας εδώ και αρκετό καιρό ενώ βρίσκεται σε καθεστώς αστεγίας. Η οικογένεια της, αλλά και η πολυκατοικία στην οποία διέμενε, την πέταξαν κυριολεκτικά στον δρόμο, καταστρέφοντας και κλέβοντας όλα της τα προσωπικά αντικείμενα αφήνοντας την ανίκανη να εργαστεί. Ο λόγος; Γιατί δεν ταίριαζε με τους «Έλληνες νοικοκυραίους» και τους «καθώς πρέπει», δηλαδή δεν ταίριαζε στην ετεροκανονικότητα.

Βρήκε προσωρινή στέγαση στον σύντροφο της, ο οποίος δυστυχώς απεβίωσε αιφνιδίως το καλοκαίρι με αποτέλεσμα να εκδιωχθεί εκ νέου, αυτή τη φορά από την οικογένεια του. Έκτοτε, η συνθήκη της αστεγίας της έχει δημιουργήσει μείζονα ζητήματα υγείας, και έχει οξύνει τα ήδη υπάρχοντα.

Δεν είναι ένα μεμονωμένο περιστατικό. Για τα τρανς άτομα είναι πολύ συχνό να βιώνουν την βία του κράτους και της πατριαρχίας, που οδηγεί σε αποκλεισμό από την εργασία, τη στέγη, την υγεία και εν τέλει στο κοινωνικό περιθώριο και στο στόμα του ρατσιστικού μίσους. Οι προνοιακές υποδομές του κράτους είναι σχεδόν ανύπαρκτες, ενώ όσες υπάρχουν – όπως τα υπνωτήρια αστέγων – λειτουργούν υπό απάνθρωπες και ανασφαλείς συνθήκες. Ακόμα και τα διαμερίσματα των ΜΚΟ είναι υπερπλήρη, όσα υπάρχουν ακόμα, καθώς το κράτος και η ΕΕ κόβουν χρηματοδοτήσεις από δομές πρόνοιας και για να ενισχύσουν τα κονδύλια προετοιμασίας του πολέμου.

Μέσα σε αυτή τη συνθήκη, με τις τιμές των ενοικίων να είναι στα ύψη και η πόλη να εκτοπίζει τους φτωχούς για χάρη των τουριστών και όσων έχουν χρήματα, η στέγαση της εργατικής τάξης και των μη προνομιούχων φαίνεται δυστοπία.

Η Γιάννα απευθύνθηκε στην κοινότητα μας και γίνεται προσπάθεια τους τελευταίους 2 μήνες να αντιμετωπίσουμε μαζί τα ζητήματα υγείας της, τη γραφειοκρατία και το ζήτημα της αστεγίας, δηλαδή να βρεθεί ένα σπίτι για την Γιάννα ώστε να μπορέσει να συνεχίσει τις θεραπείες της και να ζήσει. Ζητάμε οικονομική στήριξη σε αυτόν τον αγώνα για αξιοπρεπή στέγη και διαβίωση, δηλαδή για μια αξιοπρεπή ζωή.

Απέναντι στην ηθική αυτής της κοινωνίας που προάγει τον ατομικισμό, την κουλτούρα «ο καθένας για τον εαυτό του» και την μοναξιά, εμείς απαντάμε πως το μόνο που έχουμε είναι η μία το άλλο.

AUCUNE FEMME TRANS SEULE FACE À LA MISE À LA RUE !

Yanna, femme trans de 50 ans, est sans logement depuis un certain temps et fait face à de graves problèmes de santé. Elle a été expulsée de chez elle par sa famille ainsi que par les habitant·es de l’immeuble où elle vivait, qui ont détruit et volé ses affaires personnelles, la laissant à la rue et dans l’impossibilité de travailler. Quelle en était la raison ? Elle n’avait pas sa place parmi les petits-bourgeois grecs, parmi celles et ceux qui se prétendent « respectables », c’est-à-dire parmi celles et ceux qui exigent l’obéissance à l’ordre hétéro-normatif.

Yanna a trouvé un hébergement temporaire chez son compagnon, décédé brutalement durant l’été. Après sa mort, elle a de nouveau été expulsée, cette fois par la famille de celui-ci. Depuis, la précarité prolongée du sans-logement a provoqué de lourds problèmes de santé et aggravé ceux dont elle souffrait déjà.

Le cas de Yanna n’est pas un incident isolé. Les personnes trans subissent de manière systémique les violences de l’État et du patriarcat : exclusions du travail, du logement et de l’accès aux soins, marginalisation sociale, racisme et haine. Les structures de protection sociale de l’État sont quasiment inexistantes, et ce qui subsiste — comme les centres d’hébergement — fonctionne dans des conditions indignes, violentes et dangereuses. Même les logements gérés par des ONG sont saturés, tandis que l’État et l’Union européenne démantèlent les budgets sociaux pour financer l’armement et préparer la guerre.

Dans ce contexte, marqué par l’explosion des loyers et par une ville qui expulse les pauvres au profit du tourisme et des classes aisées, se loger est devenu une dystopie pour les classes populaires et les personnes les plus précarisées.

Yanna s’est tournée vers notre communauté. Depuis deux mois, nous luttons à ses côtés pour faire face à ses problèmes de santé, affronter la violence bureaucratique et résister à sa mise à la rue forcée — avec une priorité absolue : lui garantir un logement afin qu’elle puisse poursuivre ses soins et vivre. Nous appelons à un soutien financier pour cette lutte, afin d’assurer des conditions de vie et de logement dignes d’une existence humaine.

Face à une société qui glorifie l’individualisme, le « chacun pour soi » et la solitude imposée, nous affirmons la nécessité du soin et de la solidarité collectifs — parce que tout ce que nous avons, c’est les un·es les autres.

Yanna, eine 50-jährige Transfrau, ist seit einiger Zeit obdachlos und hat mit ernsthaften Gesundheitsproblemen zu kämpfen. Sie wurde von ihrer Familie und den Bewohnern des Wohnhauses, in dem sie lebte, aus ihrer Wohnung vertrieben, die ihre persönlichen Gegenstände zerstörten und stahlen, sodass sie auf der Straße landete und nicht mehr arbeiten konnte. Was war der Grund dafür? Sie gehörte nicht zu den kleinbürgerlichen Griechen, zu den selbsternannten „Wohlgesinnten“ – also zu denen, die Gehorsam gegenüber der Heteronormativität verlangen.

Yanna fand vorübergehend Unterkunft bei ihrem Partner, der im Sommer plötzlich verstarb. Nach seinem Tod wurde sie erneut vertrieben, diesmal von seiner Familie. Seitdem hat die anhaltende Obdachlosigkeit zu ernsthaften Gesundheitsproblemen geführt und bestehende Probleme verschlimmert.

Der Fall von Yanna ist kein Einzelfall. Transgender-Personen sind regelmäßig Gewalt durch den Staat und das Patriarchat ausgesetzt, was zu Ausgrenzung aus dem Arbeitsleben, dem Wohnungsmarkt und dem Gesundheitswesen und letztlich zu sozialer Marginalisierung und rassistischem Hass führt. Die staatliche Sozialinfrastruktur ist fast nicht existent, und das Wenige, das es gibt – wie Obdachlosenunterkünfte – funktioniert unter unmenschlichen und unsicheren Bedingungen. Selbst die von NGOs bereitgestellten Unterkünfte sind überfüllt, da der Staat und die EU die Mittel für Sozialstrukturen gekürzt haben, um die Militärausgaben und Kriegsvorbereitungen zu erhöhen.

In diesem Zusammenhang, wo die Mieten in die Höhe schnellen und die Stadt die Armen zugunsten von Touristen und Menschen mit Geld verdrängt, ist das Wohnen für die Arbeiterklasse und benachteiligte Menschen zu einer Dystopie geworden.

Yanna hat sich an unsere Gemeinschaft gewandt, und seit zwei Monaten arbeiten wir gemeinsam daran, ihre Gesundheitsprobleme anzugehen, die Bürokratie zu bewältigen und ihrer Zwangsräumung entgegenzuwirken – vor allem, um ihr ein Zuhause zu sichern, damit sie ihre Behandlung fortsetzen und weiterleben kann. Wir bitten um finanzielle Unterstützung in diesem Kampf für angemessene Wohnverhältnisse und Lebensbedingungen, die einem Leben in Würde würdig sind.

Wer über finanzielle Unterstützung hinaus Hilfe leisten kann, kann Yianna jeden Montag von 15:30 bis 18:30 Uhr in unserer Gemeinschaftsküche treffen.

Gegen eine Gesellschaft, die Individualismus, die Logik des „Jeder für sich“ und erzwungene Einsamkeit verherrlicht, bestehen wir auf kollektiver Fürsorge – denn alles, was wir haben, sind wir selbst.

Yanna, una donna trans di 50 anni, è senza casa da tempo e affronta gravi problemi di salute. È stata cacciata dalla sua casa dalla sua famiglia e dai residenti del condominio in cui viveva, che hanno distrutto e rubato i suoi effetti personali, lasciandola per strada e incapace di lavorare. Qual è stato il motivo? Non apparteneva alla piccola borghesia greca, a coloro che si autodefiniscono “ben educati”, ovvero a coloro che esigono l'obbedienza all'eteronormatività.

Yanna ha trovato una sistemazione temporanea presso il suo compagno, che è morto improvvisamente in estate. Dopo la sua morte, è stata nuovamente sfrattata, questa volta dalla sua famiglia. Da allora, la continua privazione di un alloggio le ha causato gravi problemi di salute e ha peggiorato quelli già esistenti.

Il caso di Yanna non è un incidente isolato. Le persone trans subiscono regolarmente violenze da parte dello Stato e del patriarcato, che portano all'esclusione dal lavoro, dall'alloggio e dall'assistenza sanitaria e, in ultima analisi, all'emarginazione sociale e all'odio razzista. L'infrastruttura assistenziale dello Stato è quasi inesistente e quel poco che esiste, come i rifugi per senzatetto, opera in condizioni disumane e insicure. Anche gli alloggi forniti dalle ONG sono sovraffollati, poiché lo Stato e l'UE hanno tagliato i fondi alle strutture assistenziali per aumentare le spese militari e i preparativi per la guerra.

In questo contesto, con gli affitti alle stelle e la città che allontana i poveri a favore dei turisti e di chi ha soldi, l'alloggio per la classe operaia e gli svantaggiati è diventato una distopia.

Yanna ha contattato la nostra comunità e negli ultimi due mesi abbiamo lavorato insieme per affrontare i suoi problemi di salute, districarci nella burocrazia e affrontare il suo sfratto forzato, soprattutto per garantirle una casa dove poter continuare le cure e vivere. Chiediamo sostegno finanziario in questa lotta per un alloggio dignitoso e condizioni di vita degne di una vita dignitosa.
