Financial Support for K’s Legal Expenses
K., a mother of two, separated from her partner and the children’s father in October 2024. In the years of their relationship he has exhibited abusive behavior, financially exploited K., and even threatened her life. At all times he does not assume his financial and practical responsibilities for the children.
In October 2024, she filed a complaint against him with the police for domestic violence. She is still awaiting the start of the trial with no indication that it will begin soon. As a working woman and due to her ex-husband’s refusal to provide child support and sign the divorce papers, K. is struggling to cover both her daily living expenses and the legal fees required to pursue her case.
Due to these financial difficulties, she is currently staying with relatives. For all these reasons, we are asking for your help so that we can cover the costs of K.’s legal battle against her abuser. The court costs alone amount to €2,000.
