Somos un grupo de individualidades que hemos venido agitando las ideas y prácticas anarquícas antiautoritarias en Tijuana, desde eventos en solidaridad con compañerxs de accionar presxs y en fuga, hasta proyectos de difusión: ferias del libro libertarias, charlas, talleres para la niñez, biblioteca. Lamentablemente no pudimos sostener el antiguo espacio -Centro Social Okupado Mauricio Morales- que teniamos para levantar nuestras propuestas confrontacionales, debido a la turbulenta y asquerosa cotidianidad que estamos en constante lucha. Sin embargo, con nuestros medios y voluntad hemos podido seguir consolidando propuestas.

En esta ocasión nos dirigimos a todxs lxs afinidades en guerra contra el poder y la autoridad a pedir su solidaridad para levantar esta iniciativa de °1er Encuentro Internacional de Prácticas Anarquícas y Anti autoritarias Contras las Fronteras en Tijuana. En cual estaremos realizando un espacio de encuentro de practicas afines a la confrontación contra el poder ya sea, charlas, presentación/proyección de material audiovisual, medios de contra-información, libros, talleres, proyectos artísticos y cuanta actividad creativa apunte a romper con lo cotidiano y la autoridad. Tomando en cuenta la latitud de varixs compañerxs, también estará abierta la participación a distancia ya sea por algún medio escrito o video-presencial o no.

La razón que acudimos a la solidaridad es para adquirir alguna impresora para la impresión de material, equipo de sonido, proyector.

We are a group of individuals with years of experience agitating for anarchist and anti-authoritarian ideas and practices in Tijuana: from solidarity events for prisoners and fugitives to propaganda activities like bookfairs and discussion groups to mutual aid like childcare and bicycle workshops.

Unfortunately we could no longer maintain our old, squatted space--Centro Social Okupado Mauricio Morales--out of which we raised confrontational proposals. The turbulent and disgusting requirements of daily life in capitalism proved too much of a constant struggle to keep the space. Nevertheless, with our networks and wills we have continued to bring together new proposals.

Now, we are calling on all those with affinity for war against power and authority, asking you for solidarity in organizing the 1st International Gathering of Anarchist and Anti-Authoritarian Practices, against the border in Tijuana. During the gathering, we will be organizing a space of encounter for practices tending towards confrontation against power, whether those be discussions, multimedia presentations, counter-information like books or zines, workshops, artistic projects, and any other creative activity that takes aim at breaking with the daily affronts of authority. Taking into account the distance of many of our comrades, we will also open up participation over distance, whether those contributions be through writing, live video, or any other medium.

The support we are asking you for will help us acquire a printer, speakers, projectors, and other technology that will be useful in putting together a robust weekend of activity.
